Wood County Health Department Confirms Measles Case in Bowling Green, Lists Exposure Sites
The Wood County Health Department has confirmed one case of measles in Bowling Green, and says the infected person visited several locations while contagious, including Bowling Green State University, Pagliai's Restaurant, the Wood County Hospital Emergency Department and Falcon Health Center. Anyone who was at those places during the listed times may have been exposed, the department said in a September 29 media release.
Weston Public Library Seeks Applicants for Board of Trustees Seat
The Weston Public Library is looking for a community member to serve on its Board of Trustees for a four-year term that begins in January 2027. Letters of interest are due to Library Director Shelen Stevens by 10 a.m. Monday, October 5.
Miss Lily’s Opens Its Doors on Center Street, Adds Evening Hours
Six months after Weston residents first learned the Grand Rapids favorite was scouting new locations, Miss Lily’s has officially made the village its new home. The restaurant opened at 13539 Center Street on Saturday, September 12, and tonight serves its first dinner as it adds permanent evening hours on Thursdays and Fridays.
